Lush green jungles, Rocks with contrasting hues & color and effects of nature and water evident from the marks on them, Flowing water....Best part..You are looking at the Chhattisgarh border ( 15 kms away is Dantewada { site of massacare of 76 CRPF jawans by rebels } )...chilling..brrrr...however, life is as normal here as it can be. That was the beauty of the place and we came across lots of visitors and tourists who were obviously oblivious of these staggering facts.
Markings inside Gupteshwar caves...with a BAT looking directly at me !!! One moment i thought that it will swoop down on me and suck my blood in the most vampirical manner possible..but there is a catch !! It is GOD's house...you are not permitted to do so...
Winding idyllic vines in the jungles of Jeypore, Orissa....enchanting and yet deceptive ( may represent some reptilean species in the dark). Our driver asked me to quickly get in the car as he spotted some locals running towards us...time to flee !!!!

Damn!! Leave the tree alone !! It is a tree for God's sake...at least spare the tree!!! You are supposed to save a tree not F&*K it !!! This is gross man @#$#. You are a pervert ! How can u do this....Oh ! Come on !!!
Ramagiri police out post - Locals say " The rebels surrounded and fired at the police center. There were 2 policemen inside. 1 fled while the other was bit drunk. The 2nd officer pleaded the rebels to at least give him his motorcycle back. The rebels beat him up saying you dont fear for your life. The officer told them that he had newly purchased the bike and wants it back. Infuriated the keys were given to the officer who fled from the scene like sehwag's hair ! The rebels then planted the mine and blew up the place." Shortly after this the Police headquarters of Koraput was raided by about 600 rebels and arms and ammo enough for 10 years was stolen !! God only knows what is the truth but the story was amusing.
Murals on the inside of the dome of Jagannath Temple, Koraput, Orissa. Simply wonderful!!

I was standing and having the delicious oil free dosas at this local village breakfast center and i was not even aware that Maoists had blown up the police out post just 7 Kms from here a few days back. It is said that dosas cooked on wood fire is better than on gas. I tasted to believe it. This dude was really amazing.
Sitting on the doorway of a moving train with 37 tunnels and innumerable bridges (with no edges!!) at 6 am and believe me .... you do get your moments. Train was moving very fast and even though with a shutter speed of 1/500 the time to change it to 1/1000 was not there. Otherwise i could not have got that 2 sec yellow-golden tinge. So it was a moment for me worth the efforts.
Old tribal man did not want to get his photo clicked. But few local women urged him to do so. It was after this that he posed in front of the camera- Location - outside Gupteswar Temple.
